Francis Champ has been living in the „Ardèche“ since his birth. This region is known for its chestnuts and the elderly bachelors, who have taken over their parents' farms. Francis is one of them.

This documentary paints the portrait of the farmer who lives in St. Michel de Chabrillanoux and accompanies him through his daily life full of sheeps and chestnuts.

„Filou“ gives Francis a voice and lets him tell his story, which is full of melancholia as well as humour.
